The Strategic Account Manager is a highly experience professional who manages relationship and business of eBay's most valuable customers, specifically its largest and highest-performing sellers. This individual will manage a portfolio of 10-20 customer accounts, and will have routine communication with eBay Business Unit leadership and other functions within eBay, regarding the business performance and needs of each customer in a portfolio. The Strategic Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining customer loyalty, and driving high performance, growth, and strong buyer experience among all sellers in a business portfolio. Occasional travel to eBay events, conferences and customer locations required.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in Account Management or business consulting role, with exceptional performance record
- 2+ years of supervisory experience is required
- BS/BA Degree preferred
- Strong expertise in applied knowledge of profitability analysis and business operational process
- Comprehensive and detailed expertise in eBay site, policies, product, tools and 3rd party tools required
- Expertise in eCommerce industry and channels, understanding of PayPal and/or Payments industry strongly preferred
- Exceptional skills in building rapport and credibility with customers, ability to persuade and “sell” recommendations
- Highly driven to develop and grow customer accounts and revenue, including sales and/or marketing expertise
- Strong relationships with internal partners, and demonstrated ability to build productive partnerships with individuals at all levels within the organization (from senior executives to entry- level employees)
- Exceptional professional writing skills, ability to develop well- organized, easy to follow documentation appropriate for a specific audience (customer facing, internal, etc.)
- Positive attitude, ability to work well with others, and to meet and overcome challenges
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce
- Highly organized, detail oriented along with the ability to successfully manage multiple simultaneous projects and tasks
- Ability to quickly adapt to a constantly changing environment
- Successful passing of background check including criminal and credit history review
