The Customer Service Representative position roles include: load management, (identifying carriers, tendering freight, sending freight to the Auto Tender queue), customer service (addressing any issues that occur at the time of shipment or delivery), scheduling deliveries, and problem solving.

A significant component of the CSR’s role involves working with our customer’s Customer Service to address problems with loads, make changes to existing loads, provide additional information, and provide service for special circumstances, such as samples or DSD’s.

The responsibilities for this position include:
- Schedule Delivery Appointments
- Monitor load board (did loads ship; were loads covered)
- Re-tender loads if problems occur
- Make all changes submitted from the client in a timely and accurate manner
- Respond to electronic changes as appropriate (notify carriers, reschedule appointments, etc.)
- Provide prompt and professional response to client’s requests for additional information
- Review the previous day’s load board to identify potential problems
- Manually create loads
- Strong willingness to be committed to account and branch
- Willingness to work on more than one account when there is a business need

The preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Previous customer service experience
