Direct Therapy Referral Services Inc. is currently looking for occupational therapists. We currently have a couple of positions to fill. Direct Therapy is a therapy company that directly places therapists with work in the 5 boroughs of New York. We offer consistent work and very competitive rates. We also sponsor candidates. DTS is currently making most of our placements at this time in the school based setting. This consists of a wide age range of students who usually have mild to moderate Occupational Therapy needs. You will work with them 1 on 1 during the school hours.. We offer 1 on 1 guidance for OT's that are not comfortable in the setting yet, by another O.T.. There are a number of reasons why our O.T.'s prefer the school setting. First of all it is a lighter, less stressful environment. The severities of the cases you will be involved with are relatively mild. Secondly, you have only to work while school is in session. That means shorter days and potentially summers off if you choose. Also, we will most likely be able to meet or even beat your expected yearly salary and do it with in an 8-9 month time period, but we will obviously discuss this at a later date. Finally, if you wish to do overtime during after school hours you can make quite a bit more money on top of your base annual salary.
If this sounds like a position you would be interested in then I would like to take the opportunity to meet with you face to face and I do this for a few reasons. First and foremost, I feel it is important to connect a face with a name. In addition, it is nice for you to know who I am and who you are working with. Also, it helps me when I am speaking with potential employers to know who you are personally. Secondly, some paper work needs to be completed. Most importantly I need a copy of your NYS O.T. license. So please bring that with you. Finally, when we meet we can discuss some of the remaining details that need to be addressed.

In addition, we are offering a $2,000 referral fee for OT's. The therapist must work with us at least full time for two months (30 hours per week)for you to receive your money.
