Under the supervision of the Global Vaccines & Sterile Manufacturing (GVSM) Manager the individual provides financial planning and reporting support to GVSM operations.



General responsibilities include analyzing operating budgets and preparing financial reports; maintaining select financial systems; and performing tasks related to financial stewardship and selected aspects of balance sheet management.



Primary Activities:

Partners with business support personnel in analysis of GVSM operations evaluating expense drivers and evaluating performance versus measures.
Provides planning and reporting support including establishment of standard reporting and forecasting and profit plan process.
Provides financial support to multiple GVSM sites on an as-needed basis on subjects pertaining to cost and other financial matters.
Supports the monthly consolidated closing process.
Assists in compiling client groups financial results from various systems to enable analysis of sources of variations between actual and budgeted results.
Participates in the consolidation and analysis of the GVSM Forecast Profit Plan and Long Range Operating Plan.
On occasion makes presentations to operations management including summary of financial performance financial analysis of a specific topic and overview of new finance initiatives.Required:

B.S. Degree required preferably in Accounting or Finance. An MBA or CPA would be plus.
A minimum of 1 year of related financial reporting and accounting analysis required.
Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
Solid quantitative/analytical and end-user software skills. Minimum of 1 year experience with MS Excel required.
