The Financial Accounting Operations Technician
is responsible for performing diverse operational financial and policy activities of a less routine nature. The Financial Accounting Operations Technician
is responsible for maintaining compliance activity, exceptional customer service and data processing and balancing.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Receives, validates and enters information into Finance systems.
Audits documentation for accuracy.
Ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Resolves more routine issues or questions.
Reconciles various system outputs and receives and processes special requests.

Skills:
Requires HS Diploma; 2-4 years relevant work experience; or any combination of education and experience, which provides an equivalent background. AA Degree in accounting preferred. Basic Accounting and General Ledger experience preferred.Research/Analysis experience preferred experiencestrongly preferred.Two years customer service experience required.Billing experience highly recommended.Strong verbal and written communication skills and experience.Bank Recon and OH Mainframe desiredWellPoint is ranked as one of America's Most Admired Companies among health insurers by Fortune magazine and is a 2008 DiversityInc magazine Top 50 Company for Diversity.
