Spectra Tech, Inc. is looking for an experienced electrical engineer for our Colorado location. This individual will be responsible for the field and office electrical engineering duties associated with heavy commercial and governmental construction. This electrical engineer must have experience evaluating safety compliance of electrical systems. The qualified engineer will investigate electrical problems and approve modifications, prepare/review cost estimates, review drawings and specifications to check accuracy of design, and review shop drawing and technical data for contract and performance requirements, recommending action.

REQUIREMENTS
* BS in Electrical Engineering- minimum
* 10+ years of electrical engineering experience
* Experience in NEC code compliance and NFPA testing of Fire Alarm Systems required
* Heavy COMMERCIAL construction experience required
* Experience in quality assurance of electrical systems for building construction

The ideal electrical engineering candidate will have strong communication skills. This engineer will be able to work independently as well as on a team.
