The REM must be a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Professional Engineer (PE). If not, the REM must obtain a CEM or PE within the first year after the contract award. This position is located in Northern California. REM may also perform duties to include but not limited to developing renewable energy projects, executing stimulus funded projects, conduct energy audits, develop and implement energy savings projects, coordinate with CEHNC regarding potential Energy Conservation Investment Program (ECIP), Utility Energy Savings Contracts (UESC), and/or Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPC) projects, coordinate with Western Electric Administration (WEC) or other alternative financing vehicles, develop and implement the Energy Implementation Plan and Energy Master Plan.
