Administrative Assistant
The core responsibilities of the administrative assistant include organizing (manually filing or storing electronically) office information for quick and easy retrieval, scheduling meetings and appointments, managing office supplies, receiving and disseminating information via telephone, email and other means and receiving and directing office guests The administrative assistant is expected to have extensive office software experience, including word processing, desktop publishing, spreadsheet and Internet searching. The duties of the administrative assistant require this support staff to know how to use many office equipment, such as computers, fax machines, copiers, scanners, telephones and audio-visual equipment. The administrative assistant combines software skills with office equipment end-user knowledge and excellent oral and written communication skills to produce correspondences, reports and other documents.

Educational Requirements for Administrative Assistant
Requires a high school education with basic office computer skills. Very strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills are necessary for success.
