DescriptionKey Role:
Serve as a strategic advisor to assigned clients on HR strategy, programs, and issues. Provide senior-level HR support in the areas of career and performance management, assessments, employee relations and retention, employee motivation, organizational policies, and compensation within Booz Allen. Partner and integrate service delivery with HR enterprise counterparts to ensure consistency in philosophies and alignment with business goals. Provide career management guidance and one-on-one counseling in the areas of writing assessments, mentoring, career discussions, professional development plans, and salary management. Provide leadership and education on the firms core values, ethics and compliance, and overall HR policies and educate and counsel managers on employee relations issues to ensure fair treatment of staff and compliance with federal and state employment laws. Advise managers on compensation decisions through job analysis and determination of internal equity and external competitiveness. This position is located in McLean, VA.

QualificationsBasic Qualifications: -8 years of experience with HR -Experience with various HR functions, including policies, employee relations, and career management

Additional Qualifications: -Experience with software, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint -Experience with COGNOS preferred -Ability to be flexible, motivated, resourceful, and organized to work in a multi-functional role -Ability to work in a highly-matrixed organization -Possession of excellent analytical and client-handling skills -Possession of excellent problem- and project-solving skills -BA or BS degree or equivalent experience preferred; MA or MS degree or any degree with an HR focus a plus Integrating the full range of consulting capabilities, Booz Allen is the one firm that helps clients solve their toughest problems, working by their side to help them achieve their missions.
