DescriptionKey Role:
Serve as the information assurance (IA) and certification and accreditation (C&A) specialist supporting a client. Perform risk assessments of new and existing IT systems and monitor and enforce IA policy and compliance. Conduct investigations of system anomalies, user activities, and administrator activities and conduct and assess the results of IA vulnerability scanning. Develop system security and IA documentation, including IA strategies, system security authorization agreements (SSAA), C&A packages, test plans, and test reports. Provide IA subject matter expertise to assist developers by defining IA requirements and system security capability needs. Provide IA oversight and consulting expertise throughout the system development life-cycle (SDLC). Maintain appropriate documentation throughout the SDLC and beyond to support C&A, configuration management, and systems security engineering.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
-3 years of experience with defining security programs or processes for the protection of sensitive or classified information
-Knowledge of current federal, DoD, and DON IA policies and IA business best practices
-Knowledge of DITSCAP, DIACAP, and DCID 6/3
-Knowledge of IA policies and guidelines, including 8500.2, NIST, CNSS, and NSTSS Pubs, and JDCSISSS
-Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree required
-CISSP, GSLC, or CISM Certification

Additional Qualifications:
-5 years of experience with LAN and WAN network services, including firewalls, DMZs, and routers, Active Directory, intrusion detection systems (IDS), VPNs, PKI, DNS, configuration and maintenance, network monitoring, and protocol traffic management
-BS degree in Engineering, Physics, CS, Information Security, or IT

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
