The Power Engineer is responsible for assisting the Director of Engineering in maintaining the overall operation of the maintenance department and the appearance and working order of a hotel. The Engineer must be able to work independently, as well as with others. Responsibilities may include: maintaining the exterior of the building, parking lot, and common areas, maintaining all equipment in guest rooms, conducting monthly safety inspections and training the staff on safety and emergency procedures, working with vendors, and the assistance in budget preparation. The position requires overall maintenance knowledge and trouble shooting ability with skills in painting, HVAC, carpentry, equipment, and tool usage.

-Must have 3-5 years of building operational experience
-3 years Supervisory/Management experience
-1-2 years hotel experience is considered an asset
-Must have 4th or 5th Class ticket
-Exceptional knowledge in electrical, HVAC, water treatment and building automation control systems.
-Must be able to work a variety of shifts
