Perform Java and J2EE development to support the development of Web services and the implementation of a service-oriented architecture framework. Perform new development of Java and J2EE applications using OOA&D and databases. Support the use of open standards, including WSDL, SOAP, WS-Notification, WS-Eventing, and other protocols. Work with the project manager to prioritize development tasks. Execute software builds and perform aspects of full life-cycle development, including requirements analysis, requirements decomposition, system design, coding, unit and integration testing, and software documentation. Perform technical analysis of complex systems and support the systems engineers in the development of the software architectures. This position is located in Kansas City, MO.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications: -6 years of experience with software development -4 years of experience with J2EE application development, XML technologies, and Web Services -Knowledge of WSDL, SOAP, WS-Notification, and WS-Eventing -Knowledge of Message Driven Beans (MDB), Stateless Session Beans (EJB), MQ, Spring JDBC, Spring JTA, SQL -Ability to obtain a security clearance -BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications: -Experience in working with USDA and FSA a plus -Experience with using CMM and CMMI practices preferred
