Senior Audit Manager - Corporate - Hong Kong

GLOBAL INVESTMENT BANK - THIS POSITION IS IN HONG KONG
This position is in Hong Kong Salary to $190K plus housing allowance
Must have banking industry experience

As the Vice President, Corporate Audit Manager you will be responsible for managing the Global Management Investments Audit Team and function within the Asia Pacific Region. Key tasks will include:

• Managing individual audits / review planning, execution and reporting relating to risk based audits and reviews.
• Developing and managing the annual audit plan including coordination with other regional and global teams/team leaders.
• Staff development and training.
• Contributing to or and running various key control related functions and projects including regular control and new product committees.
• Development and management of key client relationship.

Essential Experience

The successful candidate would ideally meet the following: READ CAREFULLY

• Minimum of 8-10 years banking/finance industry experience with at least 6 years of these gained while working in an audit environment, either within a public accounting firm “Big 4” or in an internal audit function in banking/finance.
• Must be CPA / CA qualified and have a excellent understanding of audit fundamentals, including risk assessment.
• Strong business acumen and knowledge of banking business process flow.
• This position requires a lot of liaison with internal client and so the highest standard in communication and interpersonal skills are required for your success.
• Proactive in nature, aggressive, inquisitive, analytical, has excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage and develop a team of professional staff from diverse backgrounds.

Additional Skills and Attributes

• Flexibility to travel within Asia Pacific 30-40%.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is essential other Asian language skills would be an advantage
