Busy plastic surgery office in Carmel Valley seeking a full time medical assistant to start immediately to assist with both front office and back office tasks. We are a growing plastic surgery business committed to providing exceptional care and services to all clients in a warm, inviting, boutique like atmosphere.

Front Office Responsibilities:

Check Patients in
Schedule Appointments
Confirm Patients
Chart on Patients
Pull and File Charts
Make copies
Get consents signed
Process Payments
Keep front office area organized and clean

Back Office Responsibilities:

Prepare rooms for procedures
Clean rooms in between procedures
Assist Physician in minor procedures
Take medical history and record vital signs, explain treatment procedures to patients, prepare patients for examinations, and assist physician during examinations
Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, dispose of contaminated supplies, and sterilize medical instruments
Instruct patients about medications, authorize drug refills as directed, and telephone prescriptions to a pharmacy
Arrange examining room instruments and equipment, stock and maintain supplies and equipment, and keep waiting and examining rooms neat and clean
Promote cosmetic procedures and skin care products


Must have:
Knowledge of medical terminology
Great customer service skills
Positive Attitude
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organized, reliable and professional
Motivated and hard working
Computer literacy
