Baldwin/Clancy/Rogan, a full-service Boston-area advertising/marketing agency, which is growing fast and looking for an experienced, high energy, team building account service pro as an important addition to our talented agency. Your objective will be to become an effective, invaluable partner with client marketing and management across several industries guiding the agency relationship and producing results. You'll need the full array of ad agency account management capabilities from strategic marketing planning to supervising implementation of the plan through the agency teams. We're a small but growing shop so you'll have to be hands-on as well


Experience:
Candidates must have 7+ years relevant experience at least 5 on the agency side. Must have lots of B2B experience. Knowledge of financial services and/or life sciences a definite plus.


Responsibilities include:

• Establishing credibility and client confidence as an essential part of the marketing management team.

• Developing marketing recommendations, strategies and actions for clients.

• Reviewing, analyzing and evaluating the following, relative to the client's needs and objectives: competitive activity, creative output, research reports and client data

• Providing leadership and strategic direction for the agency teams on each of several clients.

• Nurturing and managing growth and development of your internal team.

• Staying abreast of relevant market trends and opportunities to innovate and providing ongoing recommendations for the agency and client to capitalize on those
opportunities.

• Assuming responsibility for meeting marketing and financial objectives of both the client(s) and the agency.

• Accurately projecting and realizing appropriate agency income for each client.



Other requirements:

• Must have intimate knowledge of how agencies work from initial planning, the creative process, production, printing, media planning, buying and billing.

• Must be equally comfortable with both traditional and online tools.

• Must have solid project management skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills…and a ready sense of humor will come in very handy as well.
