This position is accountable for all phases of new and existing product research, product design and implementation.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Provide business and underwriting consulting expertise to multiple stakeholders
• Design and implement product changes to achieve corporate growth and profitability objectives.
• Coordinate the product management process.
• Facilitate discussions with senior management,IT and other internal stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain forms and policy wordings for associated products.
• Conduct required research for product development initiatives
• Research competitive product and pricing as well as develop and maintain databases on competitor products and rates.
• Complete underwriting and rate filings.
• Create and maintaining Product & Pricing manuals

Personal Characteristics:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong facilitation skills to manage ongoing product changes with regions/divisions.
• University degree or a college diploma or the CIP designation.
• Preference will be given to candidates with personal lines product research and management experience.
• Proficiency, or willingness to learn, the following computer-based tools: MapInfo, MS Access, MS Excel, Cognos Impromptu, Compu-Quote will receive preference
