THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Senior .NET software developer at Zimmerman, you will be a core part of team working on innovative SOA-based, dynamic ad-building and ad tracking technologies.  We offer a stimulating environment for senior software developers, who working closely with a Senior Software Architect, will analyze, develop, deliver and support quality software. The ideal candidate will have strong abilities to design and develop semi-custom dynamic ad-building solutions, which extend our existing .net software library. Software testing, database design and documentation and are all routine expectations of the development team.

This is a role made for the candidate possessing a thorough understanding of the .Net Framework and related technologies, and a strong grasp of OOD.  We combine parts of the Agile methodology, with its smaller deliveries, with classic 'waterfall' methods which stress an understanding of the full scope of the business needs. We follow industry best practices in software development and project management, as we work on challenging software projects.  We recognize professional expertise and passion for software development.  Our environment is fast-paced and goal oriented, your ability to grow is limited only by your personal capability.

Core Duties:

* Participate in analysis of the requirements for the software project, and translation of the requirements into the design specifications.
* Work with the Senior Software Architect on system design.
* Participate in software implementation, including coding, unit testing, and documentation.
* Responsibilities include adhering to established quality standards and practices.

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Bachelor's Degree inComputer Science or Equivalent.
- Must be very computer literate with proficiency in all MS Office products.
- 5-7 years of interactive, project management or engineering experience.
- Excellent phone, writing and inter-personal communication skills.
- More than three years experience with C# .NET 2.0/3.
- More than three years experience with MS SQL Server 2005/2008
- More than two years of experience with XML/XSD
- More than two years of experience with HTML/DHTML
- Knowledge of OOP/Design patterns, MSF
- Delivery of at least one software project with participation in entire SDLC
