We are looking for a RN to work on Saturdays as a member of the patient services team. The position provides nursing care to ambulatory surgical patients receiving abortion care.

Essential Duties:
* Provide direct care to one or more ambulatory surgery patients, including operating room, recovery room, and circulating duties.
* Assess the health status and health needs of patients (predictable and unpredictable) through interpretation of subjective and objective clinical data and take action independently to provide nursing care to the patient and/or collaboratively with other members of the interdisciplinary team.

Maintain a safe environment for patients.
*
Comply with OSHA and CLIA standards.
*
Understand and comply with policies regarding patient rights. Maintain confidentiality at all times. Ensure that voluntary and informed consent has been obtained before any procedures are initiated.
*
Know and adhere to the requirements of the Woman's Right to Know Act, parental consent for minors seeking abortion, and the screening and reporting of child abuse.

The selected RN will:
* Hold a valid license issued by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners or a license issued under a multi-state licensure privilege with another compact state.
* Be a graduate from an accredited nursing program.
