NC4 is currently seeking two qualified candidates for entry-level day shift analyst positions (7am-7pm) in Merrifield, VA.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Analyze time-sensitive material on events that may impact NC4 customers
• Conduct research on current events utilizing the latest technologies
• Monitor and update significant incidents both domestically and globally
• Manage various special projects

This work environment can at times be fast-paced and stressful. The ability to work quickly and accurately is required. Analysts work a rotating schedule of 12 hour shifts that includes regular weekend and holiday work (paid at a higher rate). Schedules often provide the benefit of as many as five days off at a time.

Skills:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree
• Superior written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong research skills, particularly on the Internet
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet short-term deadlines
• Contribute to and thrive in a team environment
• Knowledge of and interest in world affairs, journalism, or related fields of a global scale
• Proficiency in foreign languages (reading and listening). Ideal candidates will know (1) Spanish (2) French (3)Arabic or (4) Japanese. However, candidates with any significant foreign language skills, particularly in reading, are of interest
• Must be detail-oriented
• Must have legal right to work in the US

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Flexible schedule
• Previous experience in intelligence analysis, emergency management, business continuity, corporate security, EMS, or related fields
• Specialized knowledge of security, health, hazmat, meteorology, or other issues which could affect client's operations and employee safety
