MHHE has an exciting opportunity for a Media Project Manager based out of our San Francisco, CA office. Essential Responsibilities: Plan, budget, schedule, and manage production of assigned media products Ensure all projects meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements Collaborate with state side and off shore development vendors Analyze project proposals and develop tentative production plans based on schedule, complexity, budget, design, and packaging requirements Prepare content management materials based on product development needs, adhering to corporate policies and procedures Monitor schedule and cost (including budget) throughout production process and resolve any delays, whenever possible, by negotiating with vendors to maintain or improve original dates Maintain deadlines on all paperwork, including content management forms, purchase orders, and invoices Submit all electronic supplements as required to Quality Assurance Group Use decision-making and problem-solving skills to ensure successful, efficient, and economical results on each project Negotiate with and hire media freelancers, establish rates, set schedules, and monitor and evaluate their performance to ensure quality, schedule, and cost Bachelor's Degree required 1 to 3 years experience in educational media publishing 3 + years experience in coordinating media projects Experience in instructional design implementation Solid understanding of media tools such as: Macromedia Director, Flash, Authorware, JAVA, Quicktime Familiar with Javascript and HTML coding Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
