Responsible for applying release, implementation and change management methodologies/procedures to ensure the goals and objections of each release are adequately staffed for successful implementation and accepted on time through following established release planning processes. Sets the FEP release schedule by coordinating with Enterprise release team, other IT and Business departments in support of planned Enterprise project deliverables. Works with Project portfolio and management and understands approved projects and recommends how best to fit them into the release schedule. Primary duties in addition to release management team member responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Leads the release management process for FEP, coordinates dependences, sets policy and procedure, aligns initiatives to Enterprise release objectives within the release program approach and timeline and provides strategic planning analysis. Management duties may include leading/mentoring and training FEP staff; establishes a release process that ensures coherence and provides leadership and motivation to release team. Defines release resource staffing requirements, coordinates business unit activities and reviews release deliverable schedule, milestones and activities to identify discrepancies, modifications or additions as needed. Conduit for channeling strategic analysis and insight to and from release management team's planning and methodology at local, regional, National and Enterprise level. Actively works with the Availability Office to gain insight to incidents and outages and applies process improvements to the release planning process. Conduit between strategic and operational arm of RM and FEP by working closely with the release team and other IT and Business departments.

Release Manager Sr Advisor:

Skills:
Release Management ExecutiveAdvisor: Requires 10 years IT experience, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or knowledge of and proficiency in project management methodologies and the ability to manage multiple releases in a time sensitive environment. BS/BA or an equivalent combination of education and experience and multiple trade certifications or other continued education and 7 years experience in project management preferred. Innovative and strategic thinking, attention to detail and organizational skills are required. Able to give clear, understandable instructions to others; coach others in effective communication and listening skills; help others present their message effectively; initiate difficult or uncomfortable communications with others rather than avoiding them; encourage and facilitate candid and open communication within the team. Release Management Sr Advisor: Requires 7 years IT experience, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or knowledge of and proficiency in project management methodologies and the ability to manage multiple releases in a time sensitive environment. BS/BA or an equivalent combination of education and experience and multiple trade certifications or other continued education and 5 years experience in project management preferred . Innovative and strategic thinking, attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
