Responsible for developing and implementing internal & external training for associates to enhance understanding on changes in policies, procedures, regulations, new products, technologies and to meet identified needs. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Determines departmental training needs and priorities. Obtains feedback from associates as well as management regarding training and other skill enhancement opportunities. Provides training. Ensures that training is consistent with testing results. Determines training and presentation techniques for specific training modules. Develops and conducts training modules on policies, procedures, regulations, products, technologies or other identified training needs. Assists management with identifying training needs. Ensures training of all medical management staff is consistent. Validates training effectiveness using post-test, auditing and other evaluation tools. Identifies alternative training methods. Creates technical training and documentation.

Skills:
Requires a BS degree in nursing, respiratory therapy or related clinical fields and 2-3 years of work experience in a clinical setting, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Requires a current unrestricted license in designated field (i.e. RN, RT) .Prior training experience or platform instruction in technical or skill development capacity preferred.
