Responsible for providing guidance to condition management members to help them make positive lifestyle changes to improve their respiratory health. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Collaborate with other health professionals in the company to improve the health of members. Make outbound telephone calls to members to provide instructions on the use of inhalers, breathing techniques, Bipaps and peak flow meters as well as prevention techniques to reduce medical issues. Coach members to make positive health changes with specialized health education focused on Asthma and COPD population.

Skills:
Requires an Associate of Applied Science degree in Respiratory Therapy; 3 years of clinical experience as a respiratory therapist (5 years of experience, including experience outside of acute hospital care preferred); or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Requires licensure as a Respiratory Care Professional by appropriate state, NBRC credentialing, and registration as a respiratory therapist of the American Association of Respiratory Care. BA/BS preferred.
