A privately held Life Science Research company is looking for a sales professional in the South. The Corporation has an immediate opening for an experienced sales person with a strong background in GC-TOFMS and LC-TOFMS. This organization specialized in Mass Spectrometry and has a range of other products as well. Job Description:
Your primary duties will include sales of LC and GC time-of-flight mass spectrometers. This position requires regional travel, dynamic customer contact, and strong contributions in support of marketing efforts for the company's product line. They're seeking a dynamic and enterprising leader and team player who prides themselves understanding their customer's needs. This position might very well go to an aggressive sales executive with a strong successful track record who is ready to be the product line sales manager. Successful candidates will be extremely responsible team players with an excellent and verifiable work record and credentials based on performance.

Requirements:
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Candidate doesn't necessarily have to have sales experience, but sales experience is preferred. The key to the winning candidate is Mass Spec knowledge, a hard working attitude and a team first approach. They are looking for someone who has the desire and ability to travel to accounts in TX, NM, OK, AR, LA, and MS.
An advanced degree in chemistry is preferred, however, a bachelor degree in the hard sciences with a minor in chemistry is acceptable. This is an opportunity for an aggressive individual on a fast career track to rapidly grow and develop in a team environment.
This is a field-based position, and the winning candidate will ideally live in Austin, Dallas or Houston.

A high competitive base salary is provided and the commission plan will earn you well into the six figures ($100k plus). The company provides a competitive benefits package and a company car.
