WEBSPHERE BUSINESS MODELER / PROCESS ARCHITECT

Our client is a professional services firm specializing in business consulting and technology solutions primarily to the U.S. Federal Government. We have a new Full-Time Permanent opportunity for a talented Architect, WebSphere Business Modeler
. Please note this is a hands on technical position.
Posiiton is located in DC and you must relocate if not in the area!

OVERVIEW:
* Successful candidate will leverage a combination of technical expertise and process modeling experience to help define and support the implementation and migration of new business processes from WebSphere Business Modeler
to WebSphere Process Server platform
.
* Candidate will work closely with both the senior process modeling resource and requirements team to define scope and help align emerging business processes.
* Candidate will also work with the interface prototyping specialists to delineate the scope of human oriented tasks in the business processes and ensure appropriate interaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
* Work closely with the senior process modeling resource to align the emerging business processes with suitable granularity for realistic implementation and migration from WebSphere Business Modeler environment to target environment.
* Work with requirements team and interface prototyping specialists to delineate scope of human oriented tasks in business processes and ensure those activities necessarily focus on capturing the specifics of human task interaction within the context of a specific business component with a human task aspect.
* Extract existing service definitions from existing functionality, high level capabilities analysis from previous EA efforts, and project service analysis to define detailed business object (XML) inputs and outputs as well as encapsulated business logic (in the case of courser grained services).
* Support activities of the senior business modeling and senior tactical architecture resources.
* Documenting and model current applications as well as gathering and modeling requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Solid experience with business process modeling (BPM)
* WebSphere Business Modeler toolkit experience is a MUST
* Some exposure to Websphere Integration Developer
* Solid OO development experience preferably in Java prior to moving into an architect role
* Ability to work closely with tactical architect resources to translate and articulate key functionality of process modeling solutions.
* Experience with service oriented architecture and experience with technical process drivers.
* Experience with high priority, high risk enterprise initiatives.
* Experience providing detailed assessment and analysis of large enterprise systems.
