Director will expected to manage all aspects of a restructuring engagement including staffing, model and report preparation and presentation, as well as development and implementation of strategies involved with the successful engagement completion. The individual will also be expected to interface at a high level with both the client and representatives of other constituents. Must have solid negotiating skills. Must be able to assist in the marketing of restructuring advisory services to referring professionals in the NY/NJ/PA market and to participate in professional organizations.
Requirements: Substantial restructuring, bankruptcy, turnaround, crisis management experience.
Proven track record in business development.
CPA, CFA, CTP and/or CIRA highly beneficial..
Professional with a major consulting practice, or someone more senior at a boutique advisory firm. (Will consider successful single shingle practitioner who desires to be with a larger platform firm.)
Currently performing restructuring/turnaround services for clients in the NYC area.
Well connected with deal sources - bank workout departments, bankruptcy attorneys, PE firms, etc.
