Our client, is a leader in professional services, providing award-winning food services, facilities management, housekeeping services, and clinical technology services to manufacturing facilities, hotels and hospitals.
As a Vice President of Operations, you will provide overall planning, direction and control to assigned districts and their accounts to achieve both operating and financial goals. You will provide guidance and leadership to Managers and other team members.
The VPO establishes and maintains effective client relationships and will have overall financial responsibility. You will be key in helping us not only retain our client portfolio but grow our business!
As a key member of the Regional Leadership Team, you will establish long-term and short-term operating and financial goals, including budgets and forecasts to ensure effective operations and optimum profitability. The successful VPO will focus on retaining existing business and building base business. Other responsibilities include:
* participating in the sales process and helping to drive optimal performance on all new sales start-ups;
* driving high performance meetings and strong communication plans;
* leading Operating Reviews and Talent Reviews with Senior Management teams;
* overall talent management, including succession planning, coaching for performance, employee development, and talent acquisition.
Candidate must possess regional management experience in a ontract / customer service type of industry. Housekeeping and contract cleaning experience is preferred.
