Our client is seeking an experienced multi-unit retail District Manager to increase revenue, maximize profit through sales, operations and marketing as well as provide field management and direction to 15-18 locations within the retail industry with an annual sales volume of 3MM. This is a key position with approximately 15-18 direct reports and seasonal supervision of 200 reporting directly to the Regional Director.

SUMMARY:
Leads and manages the district by establishing and maintaining locations, hiring, training and evaluating district associates. Ensures that policies and procedures are implemented and followed in each supervised location to increase revenues, control expenses and promote client satisfaction through a consistent positive experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Develop, recommend and implement strategy to increase revenue and maximize profit while also increasing client satisfaction with the goal focused on returning customers.

 Lead the field operations and management to ensure successful implementation of Company policy and procedures across assigned territory.

 Recruit, interview, hire, train, mentor and supervise seasonal and off-season associates within the district. Responsible for associate acquisition and retention through creative and prescribed methods.

 Utilize Local Advertising Programs as well as Public Relations activities to promote upper level training and to also provide ongoing career and management development.

 Position will require local and occasional overnight travel - Willingness to work irregular schedules

Skills:
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

 Bachelor’s degree in Business or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

 Bilingual skills are required for this particular district opportunity – must be fluent in English and Spanish (read, write & speak Spanish)

 3 to 5 years experience in a District Manager level position within a multi-unit retail environment

 3 to 5 years experience in strategic development, budgeting and people management
