This is an IVR based telephone position with responsibility for servicing Brokers through telephone and written inquiries. Knowledge of Sales and/or Claims and/or E&B and/or Customer Service processes desired. Familiarity with Individual Products processes and procedures a plus. Strong working relationship with Broker community a plus. Ability to obtain CO & NV Resident Producer's Life and Health Sales License required within 180 days.

Responsible for providing advanced customer service support to brokers selling WellPoint products via telephone or written communication. Assists agents and brokers via telephone or written communication and responds to inquiries involving product information, policies and procedures for Individual Medical Products, Dental, Vision and Life along with commission information and legislative updates.

Will be expected to average a certain number of phone calls per representative per week and average number of pieces of correspondence to be processed per week. Adherence to schedule and AHT, ASA and Quality monitored through audit processes as well as individual Broker surveys on ASR performance.

May assist with coordination of mailings and fulfillment request and may assist in broker road shows. May provide reports to brokers. Associate will perform simple Enrollment and Billing maintenance transactions. May work on special projects for Management, Brokers, RSMs, RSRs, Captive Sales Reps and/or other MBUs and may create or work reports to meet client needs. May occasionally assist managers with Broker meetings.

Skills:
High school diploma and five years of related customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Previous health insurance industry experience preferred. Advanced oral, written and interpersonal communication skills required. Advanced organizational, problem solving and PC skills required. Advanced benefits, claims processing or membership knowledge preferred. License required where appropriate.
