RESPONSIBILITIES:
The CFO will report directly to the President and be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial activities of the Company. The successful Candidate will be a hands-on individual who is able to take charge, make a difference in a fast paced environment and enjoys working with creative professionals.
The CFO leads a staff of 15.
Specific responsibilities of this position include:
* Providing leadership on all financial issues facing the Company.
* Ensuring that proper financial and operational controls are in place.
* Protecting corporate assets through the development and implementation of sound accounting policies and procedures.
* Overseeing the development of necessary financial reports to support strategic and day-to-day business decisions.
* Actively engaging with all P&L leaders to understand their businesses; to provide superior financial insights about all financial considerations; and to develop corporate services and support which foster profitability and growth.
* Analyze and interpret the financial results on a timely basis.
* Conducting all treasury duties and interface with financial institutions.
* Directing the construction and implementation of operational budgets by reporting entity.
* Overseeing preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, statement of cash flows, regulatory reporting, and bank reports.
* Developing and providing operating analytics and guidance to executive management team.
* Overseeing all financial audits.
* Serving as a key advisor on all overall Company performance and long-term initiatives.
* Working with the corporate controller to oversee the management of the accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll functions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal Candidate will have a minimum of twelve to fifteen years of business experience of increasing responsibility with a minimum of five years as a CFO in a middle market environment. Additionally, the Candidate will come from a dynamic professional services or other business service setting that ensures he or she brings the necessary experience and understanding of a complex, matrix organization with a globally dispersed team. Experience in an asset based lending environment is critical.
The Candidate must be a business-focused financial executive, with the experience and ability to develop commercially effective strategies to help grow the business.
