The Regional Sales Manager
ensures the leadership of sales representatives, provides support of excellent customer service to hospital and physician customers, and delivers the tactical execution of determined product strategies for a given geography. The RSM establishes goals for sales representatives in alignment with prescribed product strategies, then continuously monitors and reports the progress toward those goals. Daily direction, coaching and targeted development of the team is understood as a core role of the RSM in reaching goals. The RSM will facilitate among sales representatives the provision of meaningful data on market trends, competitor actions, and proactive customer concerns. The RSM is responsible for achieving targeted sales and marketing targets, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing the regional P&L and sales budget.
The following states will be part of the Central Sales territory – ND, SD, NE, KS, OK, TX, MN, IA, MO, TX. Sales Manager will ideally live in Dallas, Kansas City, or St. Louis.
Job Responsibilities
•Teaching, training and coaching 8-12 medical device hospital/physician sales professionals
•Conduct regular and complete days in the field in a coaching and mentoring role
•Act as key liaison between Key Opinion leaders and corporate marketing
•Planning, budgeting, analysis, and administration.
•Organizing, planning, and conducting, as well as attending various sales and sales management meetings.
•Job performance reviews and development of team members.
•Recruiting and staffing.

Minimum Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in business or life science, MBA preferred
•Minimum of 5 years successful experience as a pharmaceutical or medical device sales representative, including 2 years of hospital sales experience
•Minimum of 5 years Pharmaceutical/Medical Device sales management experience

Additional Qualifications

•Strong leadership, team building skills, as well as, excellent communication skills
•Extraordinary knowledge of hospital new product protocols, including P&T committee and medical device committee processes.
•Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and must demonstrate sound judgment and decision making ability.
•Proven track record of award winning sales and sales leadership performance
