Major Account Executive / software
My client is an established industry leader in software development that enables F1000 companies and government accounts to dramatically improve the business value of their legacy enterprise applications. They are an established, financially strong industry leader in application extension and application migration solutions. This international company provides tools, services and consulting to large F1000 clients across verticals. My client is recognized in their field and benefits from established partnerships with IT leaders such as; HP, Microsoft and Unisys where their products and methodologies are incorporated into larger solution suites. They are seeking experienced enterprise software Major Account Executive to represent solutions, tools and services to existing and potential F1000 clients/prospects in NY/NJ market.
Professional presentation skills and technical understanding and business acumen are required to drive opportunities, POC's, and complex contractual deals. This quota carrying position is a visible opportunity to achieve and build career path for a sales professional who is experienced in both hunting and leveraging F1000 relationships. Significant income potential.

Required Skills;

* 10 yrs knowledge and experience selling large scale application development software
* Knowledge in software development processes and experience w/ testing and QA tools is critical.
* Must live in the NY/NJ metro area (NY, NJ, CT, PA) with ability to travel regionally
* History and track record of business development / quota attainment.
* Excellent presentation skills and professional presence
* Strong team building skills and project management knowledge is desired
* Knowledge of enterprise platforms is desired (mainframe, midrange and desktop).

The successful candidate will be part of a visible growing entity within an industry established leader and will report directly to field sr. management. Realistic target earnings at $ 220.0K (base, variable) and a full suite of benefits.
