They are a clinical technology organization that brings together experts in clinical trials, medicine, pharmacy, instructional design, and technology. Their products and solutions have been designed to optimize clinical trial efficiency and minimize protocol execution burden.
Position Overview
The BD Executive role requires a highly detailed knowledge of the company's products and services for Clinical Research.
The role also requires an in-depth understanding of how the products and services can benefit the processes involved in carrying out clinical trials.
The BD Executive must be able to explore, understand, and develop the clients' detailed operational and business requirements for technology and/or training solutions in clinical trials and then be able to explain how the company's solutions can match these requirements, whilst providing a benefit and return.
Key Responsibilities*
-To expand the client base through acquisition of new customers with a primary focus on the Top 20 Pharmaceutical Companies.
-To grow the business with existing clients in conjunction with the Key Account Executive Team
-To identify and drive new business opportunities for company providing web-hosted solutions, customized for clinical research, that increase efficiency, reduce costs, improve compliance, and get better results.
Main tasks
- Actively prospects for, and generate new business with new clients
- Develop deep knowledge of prospective new client organizations.
- Analyzes potential opportunities and develops detailed business plans and sales strategies for new target customers.
-Conduct client proposals, meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations – excellent presentation skills required.
- Leads the entire sales process - preparing and leading the sales presentation.
- Leads the proposal effort developing customized approach and consistent messages.
- Shares client account strategies and sales plans with other relative departments.
- Reports information on personal sales activity through weekly updates and database entry or supervises Proposal Support to report and maintain this data.
- You will be required to become an expert in each of the company's products and services.
Key Skills
- Hands-on personality with experience in Sales and Marketing within the Clinical Research industry
- Flexible, diplomatic yet firm disposition, managerial talent with ability to handle crisis situations and emergencies. Influencing and motivating skills are indispensable
- Demonstrate successful sales experience to clinical project team in Pharmaceuticals
- High ethical standards and discretion are essential
- Able to manage in different cultures
- Decision Maker with good social and communication skills
- Intercultural sensitivity
-Fluency in English, additional languages an advantage
