Job Description/Qualifications Description: Manage the sales and call center activities in the New York City Sales Center. Directly manage the flow and timely handling of Inbound sales calls designed to generate revenue, cash flow, subscriber growth, and customer satisfaction.

Position responsible for all call center metrics including: AHT, ASA, Abandonment rates, ISR Productivity, staffing, etc. Also responsible for all sales metrics of NYC center including: sales yield, Winback sales and sell in, DVR sales and sell in, and revenue. Must have a proven ability to analyze all call center metrics, identify areas of opportunity and coach and motivate staff to success.
Local Sales Director must possess ability to communicate effectively and partner with other departments to drive the business. Must be able to communicate all call center issues and customer issues and make recommendations for improvements. Additionally, must be able to communicate sales strategy and ensure reps are properly trained to succeed.
Work with Human Resources to fulfill ongoing recruitment needs to maintain required staffing levels. Maintain a strong working knowledge of all call center-related technical equipment including telephone system hardware, phone switches and trunking capabilities. Evaluate, on an ongoing basis, the physical structure of the call center (e.g., location, number of representatives), and make recommendations to improve efficiency and maximize performance, including call center consolidation where appropriate. Monitor, make recommendations, and implement potential revisions of sales representative commission programs being used within the call center, on an ongoing basis. Monitor and track overall Inbound expenditures within the call center to stay within budgeted guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree with communications and/or business emphasis. Minimum of 5 years of managing a large telemarketing call center. Minimum of 5 years of sales/marketing experience and supervisory/managerial experience. Must be able to make effective presentations, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to interface with all levels of management. Must have strong analytical ability. Basic computer knowledge of software applications such as Excel and Word required.
