We are looking for an excellent software developer to play a key role in the development of our innovative, enterprise class real-time Equity Trading System. Be a major contributor to the design, development and deployment of large-scale distributed financial applications.
We plan to expand our dynamic team currently responsible for developing and maintaining middle office applications as well as applications which provide integration with various third party systems. System is written in C , Oracle PL/SQL and running on Linux and Windows platforms.
Candidates should have a proven history of success working in a team-oriented environment. He/She must have a solid history of application development, testing automation, support, enhancements and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications
* BA or BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
* In-depth knowledge of C . At least 3-4 years of relevant programming experience.
* Client facing development experience is required with either C or C#.
* Strong Object-oriented and distributed systems design and methodology;
* Solid knowledge of Windows and Linux OS
* Knowledge of various relational databases (Oracle preferred).
Skills
* Motivated self-starter; strong take-charge attitude.
* Excellent follow through and attention to detail.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Strong communication skills.
Preferred
* Knowledge of event-driven (publish/subscribe) programming models.
* Oracle PL/SQL development experience is a plus.
* Knowledge of Python, C# and .NET is a plus
* An understanding of electronic financial messaging standards/protocols, including FIX.
* Experience with Middleware (ie. SmartSockets) a big plus.
* Financial Services experience is a plus.
