Click Here to Apply Online This position is primarily responsible for the successful data collection/intervention implementation of the assigned study (or studies). This involves intimate knowledge of all study grant narratives and budgets, as well as capability for interfacing with the agricultural community. NYCAMH research consists almost entirely of field studies, and often they are implemented under difficult conditions. The Study Coordinator must be able to set up and supervise data collection/intervention implementation under extreme conditions of weather, during agricultural harvest times and in some cases with subjects whose first language is not English. Study leadership relies on the Study Coordinator to supervise data collection/intervention implementation successfully and to request assistance from NYCAMH staff as needed. Minimum Requirements: Master’s Degree or higher in Public Health or other fields utilizing population research, agricultural health, and/or community organizing; Bachelor’s Degree with extensive relevant experience considered Demonstrated ability to supervise complex programs and data collection/intervention implementation events Ability to design newsletters and brochures Experience working in agricultural health and safety research or education, and Spanish or Haitian Creole/French ideal Public speaking and teaching experience helpful
