COMPANY: Our client is a company with a rich history of growth and innovation whose products address virtually every lighting requirement for commercial and industrial applications.

POSITION: The Regional Vice President is responsible for managing factory offices on the west coast from
Seattle
to
San Diego
, and for leading a team of District Sales Managers, Direct Sales Reps, and Independent Sales Reps.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Lead sales team to foster/enhance relationships as well as focus on further market penetration, particularly with major accounts
* Prepare market strategy formajor products within market segment
* Introduce new products
* Prepare sales forecasts,budgets, and other projections required
* Ensure all sales activities including customer service, quotations, project management, and inside sales duties are successfully performed
* Keep senior leadership informed of economic, competitive, and other factors affecting region with recommendations for improvements/changes
* Lead, Inspire, Motivate

REQUIREMENTS:
* Education: Bachelor's Degree, MBA is a plus
* Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales management experience in the lighting industry calling on architects, engineers, and lighting consultants
* Superior sales and sales management ability including excellent negotiating skills and successful track record with sales assignments, experience leading a team in selling specification and/or technical type products
* Excellent leadership/mentoring skills, and the ability to motivate others
