Supervise small group of software and logic engineers developing code to RTCA/DO 178 and RTCA/DO-254. Update and maintain design standards and processes.
Establish and execute development, test and production release plans. Itemize software and logic requirements, selecting appropriate microcontroller and / or logic ICs to perform the identified requirements with sufficient margin.
Delegate work appropriately to team members. Review code to assure it meets applicable design assurance level requirements. Assure appropriate test coverage is achieved. Manage preparation and release of all software and logic documentation to obtain FAA/EASA product certification.

1) BS Software or Electrical Engineering or applicable equivalent experience
2) Full understanding of DO-178 and DO-254 certification processes
3) Programming skills in C, C++ and VHDL
