Click Here to Apply Online Responsible for obtaining credit information for new customers, assisting with credit collections and keeping management informed on credit status of customers throughout the district. Primary Duties: Gather credit information on potential new accounts for all district locations. Contact customers regarding past due balances. Deposit any incoming checks or forward onto the General Office for district headquarters branch. Make cash sale deposits and follow up on any discrepancies. Research debit memos and unapplied credits for all district branch locations. Issue credits to customers when necessary or make any corrections to customer billing for district headquarters branch. Correspond with customers on billing discrepancies for all district locations. Direct all work performed in the unit. Stay abreast on trends in credit law or regulations within the district. Support company goals and objectives. Follow up and promote the Crescent Business System. Travel to outlying branch locations to train support staff. Work with and visit key customers. Carry out duties & responsibilities as assigned by upper management. Work closely with all branch management to grow sales while hitting DSO/Aging targets. Ensure all positions are staffed by qualified and trained personnel. Conduct annual Performance Appraisals and Goal Setting with all employees of the unit. Recommend employees for wage increases and promotions. Do career planning with employees of the unit. Support other branch or district designated goals. Qualifications: Good math skills Strong communication skills Must be organized, accurate and assertive. Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting from four year college or university; or 4+ years previous credit or accounting experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
