Process Tooling Engineer
Location: Rockport, Massachusetts
Compensation: $70,000. to $75,000. per year

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
•The Process/Tooling Engineer maintains complete and accurate records of assigned project activities coordinating LIM tooling, product design and molding processes.
•Plans and organizes project time lines for assigned projects using established APQP Project Management tools.
•Advises management of any cost related issues for assigned projects.
•Generates and maintains documentation for all internal processes, inspection criteria, Bill of Materials and other manufacturing and quality records.
•Conceptualizes and develops lean manufacturing processes for new and existing business opportunities, which may include new and/or modified plant, equipment and process needs. Utilization of Kaizen events.
•Supports production on silicone injection molding of materials and processes, assembly and packaging processes, as well as troubleshooting production issues.

Qualifications:
•Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering-plastics or mechanical engineering.
•Minimum 5 years working as a product/process/project or manufacturing engineer.
•Experience in medical device or medical products. LIM or LSR molding a must.
•Technical experience developing silicone injection molding of thermoplastic products.
•Experience in tooling and mold design and injection press mechanics.
