Responsibilities:
Bachelors degree in Engineering.
Minimum 10 years oil and gas engineering experience with a significant portion as a production engineer.
Demonstrated ability to use petroleum engineering theory to solve problems and identify enhancement opportunities.
Demonstrated ability to design, implement and post appraise cost effective and economically successful workover and completion programs.
Working knowledge of oilfield chemistry as it relates to corrosion, scale and paraffin deposition.
Ability to make technically and economically sound recommendations with incomplete information.
Proficiency in performing economic evaluations of projects including risk analysis.
High proficiency in required technical and economic software packages.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work with multi-discipline teams.
Ability to mentor, train and development assessment for early career Geologists.

Work with a team of reservoir engineers, facility engineers, drilling engineers and other technical experts to optimize producing reservoirs, including designing, implementing, and post-appraising cost effective and economically successful workover and completion programs; performing economic evaluations of oilfield operations including risk analysis; identifying anomalies in production and injection; conducting periodic reviews with field operations and engineering personnel to optimize individual well performance, artificial lift surveillance; monitoring operations, equipment, systems performance and safety; providing engineering expertise on wells and infrastructure; providing technical expertise to business units; providing production engineering support to acquisition and business development activities; and undertaking peer reviews, troubleshooting, training, framing, special projects, consulting, business development projects, and new technologies.
