I.D. Systems, Inc., the leading provider of end-to-end wireless asset management solutions, is searching for a Government Agency Sales Executive who has a successful track record of consultative selling complete technology solutions into government and military organizations.
The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree, have superior presentation, negotiation and organizational skills, and have a minimum of 8-10 plus years successful business development and/or sales experience in this space. Demonstrated ability to manage and grow sales volume; ability to meet and exceed sales goals; a strong Customer focus with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Candidate must be a self-starter, highly organized and have the ability to build, maintain, and close business on a consistent basis. We are looking for a candidate who has sold high value solutions by leveraging existing relationships and business experience into targeted markets. Utilizing compelling Return on Investment (ROI) calculations, asset management & tracking, and security are all potential application market development and sales strategies that candidates should have demonstrated experience. Candidates should be able to drive sales campaigns that guide prospects through system analysis and financial justification resulting in customer investment in ID Systems solutions. I.D. Systems, Inc. prefers experience selling technology based solutions with existing applications as well as understanding how funded modifications could lead to large market development.
Responsibilities
* Prospect and follow up marketing generated leads to sell wireless monitoring and tracking systems to various government agencies and DOD.
* Further develop and expand existing opportunities and underway projects within the vertical market space.
* Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new opportunities in vertical using project experience and reference accounts from I.D. Systems' extensive client base.
* Developing and implementing detailed account strategies, responsible for the management and co-ordination of all sales activities at one or more key targets to meet and exceed financial objectives
* Forecast and deliver to revenue objectives
* Overseeing/executing the proposal management process from opportunity identification to contract award.
* Establishing and growing business relationships with key decision makers, government and military leaders. Identifying and developing strong relationships, and appropriately utilizing advocates.
Person must be based in the Washington DC, Maryland, or Virginia area.
We offer a highly competitive compensation package that includes base salary and an uncapped incentive plan.
