ENERGY CONSULTANT – SALES REPRESENTATIVE
POSITIONS AVAILABLE WITH GROWING

POSITIONS ARE AVAILABLE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

• Syracuse, NY
• Rochester, NY (Regional Manager resides here)
• Buffalo, NY

Our Energy Consultants take a consultative approach to simplify the complexities in the deregulated natural gas and electric markets.

About the position

We are currently looking for qualified sales professionals to expand our B2B sales team in the Central & Western NY area.
• Extremely lucrative- offering a competitive, uncapped compensation plan.
• These are commission only positions with Monthly Residual Income.
• 1099 positions (Just like running your own business but with support from a Regional Manager).
• You must possess the ability to adapt rapidly to a fast paced, team oriented environment.
• This role will assist us in achieving revenue and profit goals through sourcing and closing contracts with commercial & industrial customers.
• Reliable transportation is a necessity.
• This position will report to the Regional Manager and will work from a home office.

Job Description

In this role, the Energy Consultant will be responsible for the following:
• Prospect and secure sales. You will generate sales leads through cold calling, going door to door (B2B), telephone conversations & other sources.
• Discuss energy options and present approved contracts to qualified customers for execution.
• After customer enters into a contract, the Energy Consultant will assist in providing the following service to customer:
o Maintain periodic telephone & in person contact with customer(s).
o Assist in solving problems with customer(s).
o Assist in managing customers’ accounts.

Experience Required

• 1 + year of business to business (b2b) sales experience.
Cold calling experience is a plus.
• Strong follow up & follow through skills.

• Effective oral & written communication as well as listening skills required.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize customer issues.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Strong work ethic required.
