As a premier member of the M Financial Group, BCG Companies (BCG) provides life insurance and consulting services to a very elite marketplace with a focus on estate tax planning, business continuation and nonqualified executive benefit plans.
The individual we are seeking will work with our sales producers and other marketing-related personnel to assist in the sales cycle for our affluent and corporate life insurance clientele. You will work closely with BCG's Case Design, Underwriting, and Client Administration teams to manage the sales cycle and new business placement.
The responsibilities for this position will include: * Attend prospect / client meetings with sales producer * Manage sales cycle from prospect to client * Schedule sales appointments as directed and maintain associated calendars * Prepare correspondence on behalf of sales producer * Assist with planning and preparation of marketing presentations * Maintain new business files and documentation of all related notes and discussions * Coordinate with Case Design, Underwriting and Client Administration on the proposed plan of insurance, purpose and ongoing administration * Participate as a team member in special projects * Create a positive atmosphere by demonstrating enthusiasm, a spirit of team work and by maintaining high standards and confidentiality * Participate in applicable industry meetings for the purpose of continuing education and/or obtaining industry designations
Experience/Skills and Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance or related field * Minimum of 1-3 years of insurance sales/marketing experience preferred * Life & Health license and FINRA registration preferred * Effective written and verbal communication skills * Excellent organization and time management skills * Excellent interpersonal skills * Team player - ability to understand the needs of our clients * Ability to set and meet deadlines * Ability to work autonomously and perform well under pressure * Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Job Conditions: * Overtime may be required * Operate under strict deadlines * Minimal travel to industry conferences
