Required Skill Sets:
-A minimum of 8 years experience with business valuation
-Experience with Family Law (Divorce) would be a very significant plus
-If not have Family Law experience then litigation experience would be a significant plus.
-Should have one or more of the following credentials: ASA, CVA or ABV
-Does not have to be a CPA (in fact holding a CPA credential may be a disadvantage for this position)
FAMILY LAW BUSINESS VALUATION SENIOR MANAGER POSITION
Practice Description:
For more than three decades, XXXX has built a solid reputation by assisting attorneys in family law matters. Our services cover the entire litigation process from discovery through settlement.
Our goal is to provide independent, objective and authoritative expertise.
Our areas of expertise include:
-Tracing and characterization of assets
-Business valuations
-Economic contribution claims
-Assessment and analysis of property division
-Attend mediation and facilitate settlement
-Tax planning
We have assisted with community estates ranging from $500,000 to over a billion dollars.
Qualifications:

-The ideal candidate should be a critical thinker and will possess a range of attributes, including excellent analytical capabilities, proven research skill, an eagerness to take on responsibility, exceptional interpersonal skills, and comfort with a fast pace & fluid environment. Strong project management, writing and presentation skills are also required.
-The Senior Manager possesses the ability to assume full responsibility for directing family law valuation engagements and has the enhanced capability of supervising a number of projects simultaneously. The Senior Manager will be a key component in the performance of client service and all related activity. The Senior Manager can perform all tasks related to client service and sees that the family law valuation assignments are accomplished by the engagement team within the budgeted time.
-Serve as a member of multiple client engagement teams coordinate/executing valuation engagements for the specific purpose of family law valuations.
-Performance, interpretation, and application of company-specific, industry, and economic research and analysis.
-Identify issues and propose solutions related to the procedures employed.
-Develop new and creative analysis to prove key assertions.
-Assume a hands-on leadership role in report generation and detailed financial modeling.
-Present findings to clients via reports and presentations.
-Develop and maintain positive, productive, and professional relationships with client personnel.
-Demonstrate teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members including mentoring junior team members.
-Must have Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance Accounting with a demonstrated aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
-Minimum five years of full-time experience performing valuation engagements in a valuation, accounting, and/or consulting professional services firm.
