Title: Retail Floral Operations Manager

Department: Floral Division of Strange's Florists, Greenhouses and Garden Centers

Reports to: Vice President, Florist Division or Corporate CEO

Overall Responsibility:
Plan and supervise both daily and seasonal operations of a large retail florist to include:
-Analyzing sales data in order to track trends and performance
-Interpret guidance, plan and execute marketing goals
-Ability to work with multiple customer bases
-Manage employees and control respective labor costs
-Coordinate with other departments in order to streamline product delivery
-Supervise and advance in house inventory of floral arrangement designs
-Refined capabilities as a team builder and mentor


Qualifications: At least a Bachelor of Science in a Business, Agribusiness or Floriculture oriented field is preferred. At least three years of management experience is a plus. The candidate should posses a high personal drive to set his or her own goals and see them to fruition. Creativity and analytical capability are must haves. The Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office and possess the capability to learn how to operate proprietary sales and management software. Willingness to deal with a fluid schedule and the flexibility to adapt to a changing marketplace is also preferred.
