Job responsibilities include administrative and supervisory work in the Emergency Services Department including but not limited to operations, training, safety and education. Normal working hours are 0800-1700 hours, Monday through Friday, excluding posted County holidays. Shall be responsible to respond to after hours emergencies as requested. Minimum requirements include Kansas State certificate as a paramedic (nationally registered certification will qualify), an bachelor’s degree in fire service administration or emergency medical services administration or related field and a career background with an organization providing full service public safety functions at an officer rank or management equivalent. Post offer Drug test is required. County Residency will be required within one (1) year of employment. Salary based on experience. Application deadline is October 1, 2009.
