Acentron is seeking a senior level Reports Developer for a position in the Upstate of SC. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company in building its data warehouse! This role will be responsible for the design, development, testing and deployment of a Datawarehouse and data mart solution. This person will work closely with various functional teams to translate business requirements into optimized reporting systems and design/develop appropriate dimensional modeling and presentation layers. Qualified candidates will have 5 years experience in Business Intelligence and Reports Development. Experience should include the following: 5 years experience in BI/Reporting development 5 years developing reporting solutions using SQL and PL/SQL 2 years experience developing frameworks using Cognos 8 Business Intelligence platform preferred Experience with Oracle databases. Requirements Proficiency in SQL and developing complex queries Proficiency in creating PL/SQL procedures Strong analytic, problem solving, and collaborative skills; experience in business requirements gathering; knowledge of standard system development lifecycle concepts. Basic understanding on Business Intelligence and data warehousing concept Extensive experience with Oracle Understanding of dimensional models, analytics and reporting, business analysis, data analysis, logical data modeling highly desirable. Experience with Crystal Reports 10 Knowledge of Accounting and Finance concepts highly desirable Experience with PowerBuilder, Sybase, and PeopleSoft Financials are a plus Excellent written and communication skills.
