This insurance company is looking to add a dynamic Business Analyst/Developer to their staff. You need to have the right communication and business skills to work with people in the different business units and design software solutions. You must also possess the technical skill to develop software in Knowledge and experience with Oracle databases (their Back End) and Crystal Reports is a plus. You will be developing insurance related applications including claims and underwriting. Having experience in a particular software development methodology is a plus, but not essential in this role. Half of your time will be spent doing business analysis, while the other half will be spent developing the applications. Nearly 85% of the software development is new development versus maintenance. There is hardly any travel associated with this job; maybe an occasional conference or trip to one of their other based offices. They provide a nice suite of benefits to their employees.
