Maxim Healthcare s Kansas City, KS office is seeking qualified RNs and LPNs for Pediatric Homecare cases in the Kansas City, Lawrence and Olathe, KS areas. Specifically, we are looking for nurses who are interested in the night shifts as well as working with Trach and/or Ventilator dependent children. At this time, all shifts are available seven days per week on a Full Time, Part Time or Per Diem schedule. All RNs and LPNs who have been licensed for at least one year are encouraged to apply! In an effort to ensure that all nurses are fully prepared for the needs of their patients, the Kansas City office provides Pediatric, Ventilator, Trach and G-Tube In-Services as well as CPR Training for those nurses who may need it. We are seeking skilled Registered Nurses (RN)/ Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to work within our clients homes providing direct patient care. Working with the physician, Registered Nurse (RN)/ Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) develop and manage nursing care plans, as well as instruct patients and their families in proper treatment, helping individuals and groups take steps to improve or maintain health. As a Maxim RN/LPN you will be responsible for following a physician established plan of treatment under the direction of our Director of Clinical Services. - Current, unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)/ Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Minimum one (1) year of nursing experience required with home health experience preferred - Current CPR certification - Copy of updated Physical, based on state requirements - Copy of updated TB results/ Chest x-ray - Reliable transportation Educational requirements contained in this field supercede any educational requirements contained elsewhere in this job posting.
